Understand bot hosting and runtime limits

Read runtime status and allowance before relying on an unattended bot.

  1. Open the connected bot dashboard and inspect its status, Commands, Uptime left and latency.
  2. Check the current plan. Free hosted runtime has a daily allowance; Pro/Team hosting is available while the paid entitlement remains active.
  3. Use Start bot to request a run and wait for the actual result. A successful connection or build is not proof of a running host.
  4. Use Stop bot to stop it explicitly. Refreshing, reconnecting or editing source does not refill an already-used allowance.
  5. If hosting reports a platform error or stops unexpectedly, read the visible result before restarting and contact support if the failure repeats.
