How shared Team chats and private work work
Choose Team for a new chat and check Discord access before sharing server work.

- On blank Home, choose Personal or Team before sending the first message. Existing conversations keep the source they were created with.
- For shared Team server work, connect the intended Discord server. A teammate must be an active Team member and own or have Administrator access to every server used in that chat.
- Ask the teammate to choose Team and check the accessible Team conversations. An unconnected Team chat remains visible only to its creator.
- Keep personal conversations in Personal. Joining a Team does not publish existing personal chats, bot credentials or your entire image library.
- If a shared chat is unavailable, check Team membership and current Discord permissions, then refresh. Do not share passwords or bot tokens to bypass an access check.
