Discord will not let me publish

Try signing in again, then check your server and bot access.

  1. Read the error shown when you use Apply. If a cooldown is shown, wait for it to end before retrying.
  2. If your access looks correct, open Settings → Account, log out and sign back in with the Discord account that owns or administers the server.
  3. Return to the connected conversation and check the selected server and draft before trying Apply again.
  4. If it still fails, check that your account has Administrator access and that the connected bot is installed with the permissions needed for the change. For role changes, check the bot’s role position in Discord.
  5. Check the live server before retrying a failed Apply; some changes may already have applied. If the problem continues, send support the error text and approximate time.
