My bot token was reset or exposed

Replace the compromised credential and reconnect.

  1. Reset the exposed bot token or client secret in the Discord Developer Portal.
  2. Remove the old secret from any public message, screenshot or source file where it was shared.
  3. On blank Home, open Server or bot → Connect Bot and enter the replacement credentials for the same application in the dialog. Never paste them into chat.
  4. Check the connected bot identity and read the connection result before starting it again.
  5. If reconnection fails, share only the error text with support, never the credential.
