I cannot find voice or dictation controls

Check settings and what is currently in the composer.

  1. Open Settings → Personalization and check that Voice is enabled for voice mode.
  2. Open Settings → Voice to select the voice or enable dictation.
  3. For Home voice mode, empty the composer and remove staged attachments; check that your plan supports voice mode.
  4. For a Dot, use its phone icon and Resume the Dot if paused.
  5. If the control is present but does not work, allow microphone access and check the device input and output.
