People can still see my private channel

Check Administrator access and all of the member’s roles.

  1. Check whether the member has Administrator access; that can bypass normal channel restrictions.
  2. Check the channel and category permissions in Discord, including permissions granted through the member’s other roles.
  3. In the connected conversation, identify the channel and say exactly which roles should be able to view it and which should not.
  4. Review the updated permissions in the preview, then apply.
  5. Check the result with an ordinary member account that does not have Administrator access.
