The theme or appearance is not what I selected

Check appearance preferences and system mode.

  1. Open Settings → Appearance and check Mode: System follows your device’s light/dark preference.
  2. Check whether Separate light and dark modes is enabled. If it is, review the palette and Accent, Background and Foreground for the affected mode.
  3. Check UI font size and Contrast if spacing, text size or readability looks unexpected.
  4. Check Reduce motion separately; System follows the device preference, while On or Off is an explicit choice.
  5. Change one control at a time, wait for the save, then refresh other open tabs. Report the affected screen if one part still ignores the saved setting.
