Troubleshoot shared Team chat access

Check membership and all connected Discord servers in the conversation.

  1. Check that you are signed in to the intended Discord account and still belong to the active Team.
  2. On Home, inspect the Team conversations available to your account. A Personal chat does not become shared just because its author joins a Team.
  3. For a server-connected chat, confirm your account is Owner or Administrator on every Discord server used in that conversation.
  4. For an unconnected Team conversation, ask its creator to connect the intended server if it should become eligible server work; unbound chats remain creator-only.
  5. Refresh after a membership or Discord permission change. If an access error persists, report the chat and server identifiers privately without credentials.
